Past Continuous - Revisão de Inglês - Parte 3/6

O Past Continuous é utilizado para expressarmos uma ação que estava ocorrendo no passado.Por exemplo : Ela estava andando. De uma forma geral, as frases no past continuous são formadas por:

Sujeito + Verbo To Be no passado (was/were) + present participle (-ing

É bem simples :
work - trabalhar

Aff :
Pronome + to be + verbo+ing
     I           was       working
   You       were      working
    He        was       working
   She        was       working
    It           was      working
  We        were       working
 You        were       working
 They       were       working

Neg : Acrescenta not depois do verbo to be no passado.
Pronome + to be +not+ verbo+ing
     I           was      not    working
   You       were     not    working
    He        was      not    working
   She        was      not    working
    It           was      not    working
  We        were      not    working
 You        were      not    working
 They       were      not    working

Int: A frase começa com o verbo to be no passado (was/were)
